In the Envy...yet adoration of the Greatest fan Of Sachin's

Long back... may be around 10 years back, In Dainik Hindustan, I read about a man... a possessed man, By the name of Sudhir Gautam from Muzaffarpur. This ardent fan of Sachin used to ride his bicycle to every match that India used to play, colored in tricolor and praying for his god...Sachin. I being a big, big ...BIG fan of Sachin myself, was not able to digest that some one could be such a great fan even in that time, utilizing all that he had in his devotion of Cricket and Sachin.... I thought he was just mad!!!

One fine day, Sudhir took a basketfull of the best LITCHI of the world that Muzaffarpur so proudly boasts of  and waited outside Sachin's home in Mumbai, till Sachin came outside and accepted Litchi from this modern age Sabri. Sachin was bowled by this fan who had waited for days outside his residence with the world famous litchi in this world where people do nothing that is not of a selfish origin.

Since, that day Sachin has not only remembered this ardent fan of his, but also as something which defines his greatness as a human being, he has rewarded the poor man with a ticket of every match that India plays in India. Sudhir today is the proud fan who gets to meet the team regularly and has a great ringside and inside view at quite a few times... a privilege that any Indian will kill to have. He has been an ambassador of Indian cricket for years now with his god... Sudhir today symbolizes the fanatic fans of Indian Cricket and the hysteria and euphoria that cricket is in our possessed country...may be that can define the importance of this world cup victory.

Sudhir today is a fan with quite a fan following of his own.... Before the team arrives at the stadium, Cricket fans line up for photo-ops and autographs...not with the Indian superstars...But Sudhir, and he refuses  to sign any before the Team bus arrives... Well quite a competition...he will sign his autographs only once sachin has signed his first of the day!

Sudhir is not a rich spoilt kid with his father's wealth at his disposal. His obsession with Sachin and cricket frustrates his family for ever. But he relates his devotion as the one of Bhagwan and Bhakt. He cycles to each match that India plays. He has cycled to Pakistan to see India playing. He has parked his cycle at the famed residences of Sachin and Ganguly which perhaps never get a glimpse of the poor man's vehicle except of that one instance. He at times has to go days without eating. But he has god-gifted strength to endure it.
Today he is a self-proclaimed mascot of the Team India.

There is a film being made on him by a Los Angeles based film maker Shushrut Jain, which is tentatively titled BEYOND ALL BOUNDARIES. He sadly confesses the reason why India do not do so well outside Asia... And abhors being a part of it," मैं  नहीं  होता  न  वहां  पे  हौसला  बढाने  को ...मेरी  कमी  महसूस  होती  है  उन्हें| "

And on a day when India made legend, And a day which will forever be itched in the memories of the quite-essential Indian fan who relishes every Indian success and lives through it, Sachin gave the greatest award that any fan could ever have asked. As soon as the victory was complete, he walked out of the changing room and gestured for Sudhir to come up. Sudhir realising that it was Sachin who was calling him went berserk and went up with an agiltiy that might have shamed the World Hurdles champions. Sachin had a photograph with the blessed fan with the world cup aloft.
Really Could a fan asked for anything greater... anything more devine?
Can a Fan Ask for Anything Greater Than This???

I have been A fan of Sachin and cricket...who could arguably kill for an Indian victory and all the naysayers of India cricket better be at a missiles range from me. But I have such a great envy and yet a hidden adoration for Sudhir...and Additional pride of being from the same land that he comes from. Well, I have not yet been blessed enough to see or meet Sachin, My God in person. But when this time I go home, I will certainly make the best of efforts  to meet and have a photo with the greatest of my breed( Sachin fan).

‎"Its easy to joke on a Sardar, but It's too difficult to be a Sardar"

I was standing at Chennai station when my attention went towards a Sikh youth standing near me wearing a Black turban having a long beard and wearing a kirpan over his shirt.

After a while, one local train arrived, which was totally packed. The Sikh youth tried to alight the train but failed to do so. Just then a voice was heard from the back coach 'Sardarji Barah Baj gaye' (Sir it's 12 o'clock!)

The Sikh youth looked over at that voice maker who was a young Mischievous type of person and instead of showing any anger made a smile towards him.

The smile made was so enigmatic that it seemed as if some type of truth lies behind it. Not able to resist my temptation, I walked towards him and asked why did he smile at that person who teased him.

The Sikh youth replied, 'He was not teasing me but was asking for my Help'. I was surprised with these words and he told me that there was a big history behind that which one should know. I was eager to know the History and the Sikh youth narrated:

During 17th Century, when Hindustan was ruled by Mughals, all the Hindu people were humiliated and were treated like animals. Mughals treated the Hindu women as there own property and were forcing all Hindus to accept Islam and even used to kill the people if they were refusing to accept. That time, our ninth Guru, Sri Guru Teg Bahadarji came forward, in response to a request of some Kashmir Pandits to fight against all these cruel activities.

Guruji told the Mughal emperor that if he could succeed in converting him to Islam, all the Hindus would accept the same. But, if he failed, he should stop all those activities. The Mughal emperor happily agreed to that but even after lots of torture to Guruji and his fellow members he failed to convert him to Islam and Guruji along with his other four fellow members, were tortured and sacrificed their lives in Chandni Chowk. Since the Mughals were unable to convert them to Islam they were assassinated.

Thus Guruji sacrificed his life for the protection of Hindu religion.

Can anybody lay down his life and that too for the protection of another religion?
This is the reason he is still remembered as "Hind Ki Chaddar", shield of India. For the sake of whom he had sacrificed his life, none of them came forward to lift his body, fearing that they would also be assassinated.

Seeing this incident our 10th Guruji, Sri Guru Gobind Singhji (Son of Guru Teg Bahadarji) founder of khalsa made a resolution that he would convert his followers to such human beings who would not be able to hide themselves and could be easily located in thousands. At the start, the Sikhs were very few in numbers as they were fighting against the Mughal emperors. At that time, Nadir Shah raided Delhi in the year 1739 and looted Hindustan and was carrying lot of Hindustan treasures and nearly 2200 Hindu women along with him. The news spread like a fire and was heard by Sardar Jassa Singh who was the Commander of the Sikh army at that time. He decided to attack Nadir Shah's Kafila on the same midnight. He did so and rescued all the Hindu women and they were safely sent to their homes.

It didn't happen only once but thereafter whenever any Abdaalis or Iranis had attacked and looted Hindustan and were trying to carry the treasures and Hindu women along with them for selling them in Abdal markets, the Sikh army although fewer in numbers but were brave hearted and attacked them at midnight, 12 O'clock and rescued women.

After that time when there occurred a similar incidence, people started to contact the Sikh army for their help and Sikhs used to attack the raider's at Midnight, 12 O'clock. Nowadays, these "smart people" and some Sikh enemies who are afraid of Sikhs, have spread these words that at 12 O'clock, the Sikhs go out of their senses. This historic fact was the reason which made me smile over that person as I thought that his Mother or Sister would be in trouble and wants my help and was reminding me by saying off 'Sardarji Barah Baj Gaye'.

Plz do tell this Epic History to all ur friends so they can know about sikh history & its a humble appeal PLEASE dont make fun of RELIGIONS as every religion is as pure as urs. !!!! :)

The mESSY CONSTITUTION

Around 60 years ago they promised us equality and gave its reference in a book called constitution...a book....only a literate person was able to read that book and understand that we are equal... but the child who was begging was unaware and behold that child is still unaware....people begging....people fighting for a square meal...are unaware.....unaware that they do have all rights on earth to stand with grace....under the shadow of this tricolor...he can even dream of the highest post india But he is unaware..... i know he wont be reading this...but i am writing this to spread this message....SO that if you meet that child...whisper in his ears...YOU ARE EQUAL

India What after SlumDog......

6/10/2010 It all started yesterday...when I was on my way back to My hostel My aim was just to refresh myself...and also to have one plate of dosha...
Everything was fine..I was busy recalling my College Day..Suddenly a 5 year child in shabby attire approached m..and in a very low tone..which was barely audible..with agony in his voice..said.."BHUKHAL HAI...BAAS EK Seb DO NA"(I AM HUNGRY...CAN HAVE JUST ONE Apple)...
People standing there avoided him...but I..sat on my knees and i said.."ka naam hai tumhara??"(what is your name??)....he replied.."RAHUL"...
My next question was.."mummy papa kahan hai??"(where are your parents??).."nahi hai"(i dont have parents)....meanwhile I ordered a fresh apple for him..and he was really delighted to see that...
I asked him "accha batao school jaoge??"(tell us will go to school)...his innocent reply to my foolish question was.." ee school kauchi hota hai??"(what is a school??)..
This question by rahul..broke my heart..63 years of independence..an orphan is still searching the meaning of school....I WASNT ABLE TO EXPLAIN RAHUL THE MEANING OF THE STRANGE WORD "SCHOOL".....he left..back to streets..trying to beg again...and i returned to my comfortable hostel.....
"RAHUL STILL WANTS TO KNOW THE MEANING...YOU LIVE IN AN INDEPENDENT INDIA...NA...A SHINING INDIA...INDIA WITH BUSINESS BOOM...IF YES THEN EXPLAIN RAHUL THE MEANING"...

VIEWING NAXALISM AS A SPECTATOR

well....i m not an intellectual...not a correspondent..but surely i am a citizen of india and yes this democracy gives me a lot that includes the right to speech....so i want to speak...not in favour or not against anyone........ but its rather from a point of view of an spectator...... If i am right it was around 1960s when Charu majumdar and Kanu sanyal started this movement...at NAXALBARI..In west bengal....AIM???.....A MORE EQUAL INDIA..there motive.. was true enough..BUT MORE ROMANTIC THAN REALISTIC....Romanticism inspires but is never successful....so was the case....The lower class people..farmers and students joined the movement in large numbers...and to be true..these romantic naxalities were killed in large numbers...this all increased during the emergency...and then it declined Today...if u visit a tribal area...(this i noticed myself in jhumari talliya,koderma[jharkhand])...schools,hospitals..etc are missing...but after every km there is a mine...Tribals get jobs there..and after few years when the deposits gets over they are left there helpless...no job..no food..nothing...BEHOLD..THEN ENTERS A NAXAL LEADER...TELLS THEM THE GOVT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL THESE..AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY TURN INTO A NAXALITE..KILLING THE SOLDIERS OF THEIR OWN COUNTRY The solution is very simple....development..in those areas...awareness in those areas..govt isnt doing it...So its our duty to step forward and help...its our country..isnt it....stop crying over problems...better solve them.....join politics...join govt jobs...clean this system from inside..... AT LAST MY REQUEST TO YOU ALL IS TO GO TO THOSE AREAS....YOURSELF....DONT BELIEVE ME.....ITS YOUR COUNTRY...IF THE HEART BEATS FOR THE NATION...GO TO THOSE AREAS...SEE YOURSELF...FORM AN OPINION YOURSELF...AND WORK FOR THE NATION..........
